Hydrofiber® Technology

Introduction

Experiments in controlled laboratory conditions clearly demonstrate the unique properties of Hydrofiber® Technology. You can click on the links provided in this section for a brief description of each experiment together with a video clip which illustrates the outcome.

In each instance, the ability of dressings with Hydrofiber® Technology to lock in exudate1, contour to the wound bed2, and respond to changing wound conditions by forming a cohesive gel can be easily seen. These functional properties make dressings with Hydrofiber® Technology an excellent solution for helping clinicians to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Click on the video clip to watch an introduction to these experiments from Bryony Lee, ConvaTec's Research & Development Scientist, Hydrofiber® Technology.
